History

My name is Beth Gross and I have been in practice as a personal trainer for 4 years. Before choosing a career dedicated to helping people I worked behind a desk brokering insurance and banking for nearly 10 years. As the daughter of a doctor and a nurse there was just something driving me to touch lives. Through fitness I learned both inner and outer strength and wanted to pass that on to others that needed to see the benefits.

In short, I gave up a high paying career to pursue a dream of helping people.  I spent a year working in sales at a few different gyms while studying for my certifications. I got my first position as a trainer at Total Woman Gym and then quickly moved on to an amazing opportunity to work for Equinox. At Equinox, I really defined my skill set and have successfully helped many people reach their goals through fitness.

Specialties

Recovery and Rehabilitation: At Equinox, I learned tons of skills to help people with an array of problems caused by injury, surgeries, aches and pains of daily living and problems derived from aging. As a person that has suffered an injury, this cause is near and dear to me. I have worked with people that have ankle, knee, hip, back, neck, and head injuries. Through movement and knowledge of the human body we can really help you relieve pain and suffering while rebuilding muscles needed to maintain a pain free lifestyle.

Weight Loss: Through proper nutrition and exercise, any one is capable if losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. I have helped people lose up to 80 lbs over an extended period of time, shred baby weight, lean out, and help avoid serious health conditions such as diabetes and various heart conditions related to weight gain.

Strength and Conditioning: Sometimes it can  be intimidating walking into a large gym and not knowing what equipment to use and how to use it. Whether your goal is to lean out or gain significant muscle we can accomplish this with the proper strength and conditioning program. I have worked with men and woman to achieve these goals and look forward to helping you as well.
